How It Works

Calls can be made either using softphones (computer acting as a phone), analogue to IP adapters (plug a standard phone into an IP network) or using true IP telephones. We are constantly testing new hardware to make sure the recommendations we give are accurate and helpful.

We have considerable expertise with Asterisk - the open-source telephony platform. Asterisk is a complete PBX written entirely in software and running on standard computer hardware.

For larger offices where internal calls are a regular occurrence this is an extremely cost-effective way to replace an outdated telephone system with a computer-based package that will grow with your business well into the future. Maintainance
